Kent residential estate Japanese knotweed infestation

Large Japanese knotweed rhizome excavated from Kent estate.

The owner of a residential estate in Kent contacted TCM requesting assistance with the removal of a large Japanese knotweed infestation on his land.

Site survey & treatment solution

Japanese knotweed was growing close to two barns that the landowner wished to develop. On completion of a site survey performed by the TCM team, it was recommended that a Dig & Dump strategy was best suited for the job, with three team members taking 5 consecutive days to complete the task.

The knotweed had been growing on this site for a number of years, thus excavation produced some exceptionally large Japanese knotweed rhizome (root system), as shown here.

Lloyds insurance backed guarantee

TCM provided their 10 year Lloyd’s backed Insurance Backed Guarantee. Therefore, should the homeowner ever wish to sell, this IBG – alongside the Knotweed Management Plan, would satisfy UK Mortgage Lenders
